Highlands Primary School subscribes to a reading programme called The Bug Club; a reading program that allows children to read and interact with a huge range of e-books using the school computers.
All children are able to access the e-books at home. All they need is a computer, laptop, smartphone etc and access to the internet. This could be at home, at their grandparents’, at a friend’s home or even at the local library. Every child has been given a user name and password. When you first access ‘Bug Club’ you will need to enter the ‘School ID’. Our School ID is: qsj9
The children are allocated books to match their book band that they are currently on. As they reach the end of their allocation, they are issued with the next band of books.
