Apples

Rashid from 1Ge sent me this Recipe and it tasted delicious, especially with custard (Look at the show and share page for a picture of Rashid's version of the cake!

Chocolate cake

Ingredients
250g butter 250g Sugar 4 Eggs 200g self raising flour 70g of cocoa
First you mix the butter and the sugar then you add the eggs and whisk them together. Then you add the flour and then the cocoa.

You put it in the oven for 15-20 minutes.

After it is cool you can add melted chocolate or cream and sprinkles.

Oats
Butter
Golden syrup

Week beginning 28.04.2020- Lemon drizzle cake

Ingredients:
125g unsalted butter – softened at room temperature
80g caster sugar
125g self-raising flour
1 tsp baking powder
1tsp vanilla essence
2 large eggs
10 g lemon zest (approx. from 3 large lemons) – reserve 1 tbsp for garnish
Lemon Syrup:
55 ml lemon juice (approx from 2 large lemons)
30 g icing sugar
Glaze:
2 tbsp lemon juice
40 g icing sugar

This was really tasty Year 1, Enjoy :)

Week beginning 20.04.2020- soft chocolate chip cookies

Ingredients
3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
3/4 cup packed light or dark brown sugar/ coconut sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 large 1 large egg, at room temperature
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
2 cups plain flour (spoon & leveled)
2 teaspoons cornflour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

It was really soft and gooey! Make sure you don't over bake them!
